SAN JOSE, CA / ACCESSWIRE / May 15, 2019 / iSign Solutions Inc. ('iSIGN') (OTC PINK: ISGN), a leading supplier of electronic signature and other software solutions enabling secure and cost-effective management of document-based digital transactions, today reported total revenue of $199,000 for the quarter ended March 31, 2019, a decrease of $15,000, or 7%, compared to total revenue of $214,000 for the prior year.
'First quarter operating results were in line with the improved levels achieved in 2018,' said Philip Sassower, co-chairman and chief executive officer for iSIGN. 'Transaction volume remained steady in the quarter and we maintain our positive outlook for growth over the course of 2019.'
For the quarter ended March 31, 2019, operating expenses were $419,000, a decrease of $15,000, or 3%, compared to operating expenses of $434,000 in the prior year. This decrease primarily was due to reductions in the use of outside engineering services.
For the quarter ended March 31, 2019, the net loss was $291,000, an increase of $7,000, or 2%, compared to a net loss of $284,000 in the prior year. This increase primarily was due to a $23,000 increase in interest expense offset by a $14,000 decrease in amortization of debt discount.
