'Program participants will have the opportunity to work remotely in a fun and relaxing environment, where they can find inspiration, forge ties with their teammates, and benefit from each other's knowledge and experience,' Commencis CEO Firat Isbecer says.
A Novel Approach to Remote Working
Commencis first launched the program in the summer of 2021, when the global COVID-19 pandemic was forcing businesses around the world to drastically alter the way they were operating. Today, an estimated 16% of companies globally are fully-remote, and the vast majority of those companies' employees - some 90% - say they are as productive, or even more so, than they were before the pandemic.
'The pandemic period was tough for everyone,' Isbecer says. 'But it also introduced novel means of working remotely, thereby creating exciting new methods- of which our Summer Campus program represents a very good example.'

Held at a venue in Turkey's coastal Bodrum province, last year's Summer Campus was attended by over 500 participants, including Commencis employees and their immediate families, along with a number of interns. 'Last year's Summer Campus let us connect with our colleagues and gain a deeper understanding of our corporate culture and values,' Isbecer explains. 'It was a very positive experience for our team that is why we decided to repeat.'
The venue for this year's Summer Campus will be the all-inclusive Nirvana Dolce Vita Resort, located in Antalya's scenic, highly touristic Tekirova district. Here, Commencis employees are invited to work remotely - in weekly rotations - from June 18 until the end of September. Along with Commencis staff, their immediate families and interns, this year's program will also be open to employees of Commencis' two sister companies, Dataroid and finbyte.
